Bob Laughlin is a creative genius, a storyteller, and a project-crushing pragmatist. This set of characteristics is almost never present in the same person. Bob has taught me to dream big, to tell great stories & to build amazing things confidently–then to light them well. I wrote this short speech for his retirement celebration, attended by more than 2,000 people.
